Game Developer

Hi there! My name is Daniel Salameh and I am a Computer Science and Game Design and Interactive Media double major at UCI. I hold a lot of passion for games and specialize in design and programming. Some of my favorite games at the moment are Inscryption and Baulder's Gate 3! I also love music, board games, and honestly anything fantasy.

Through UCI's Video Game Development Club, I have had the pleasure of working on a variety of games from RPG's to time travel puzzle games. Getting to pitch and lead my own game team for my game Shift Change was an amazing experience. As an Outreach Officer for the club, I get the opportunity to meet some amazing people in the industry and help club members build those connections. Currently I am working on two games: Time Heist, and The 4G! Feel free to reach out, I am happy to talk!

Outreach Officer and Team Lead

VGDC @ UCI is our game dev club that is focused on teaching its members about all facets of game development while giving them quarterly student led projects to work on. With about 600+ yearly members and 7+ workshops a week, our members are passionate about game development and hungry for work. It is where I have met a majority of my friends and colleagues here at UCI! As a Team Lead I had the chance of leading my own game team in Spring 2025 to create Shift Change! From there I joined the VGDC board as an Outreach Officer in early 2026. As an Outreach officer it is my goal to connect members to recruiters, other clubs, industry professionals, and many different resources to ensure their success in the industry as well as grow their knowledge. I am excited for the future of the club and I can't wait to be apart of its growth!
